Think in journeys, not pages

A funnel starts with a visitor and ends with a defined next action. ClickFunnels provides connected building blocks for the pages, forms, checkout, follow-up and delivery that sit along that journey.

1. Build the first page

Create a landing or sales page around one objective: capture a lead, book a meeting or sell an offer. A focused entry page is usually easier to measure than sending paid or campaign traffic to a generic website homepage.

2. Connect the conversion step

For lead generation, connect the form to your contact and follow-up workflow. For sales, connect the offer to checkout and any relevant order bump or post-purchase offer. Keep the first version simple enough to debug.

3. Automate the next action

A captured lead can enter email follow-up, a CRM opportunity or appointment flow. A buyer can move into a customer center, course or other fulfillment experience. The platform’s value increases when those handoffs remain connected.

4. Measure and improve

Once the funnel receives enough traffic, use analytics to locate drop-off and A/B testing to evaluate meaningful changes. Avoid changing several elements at once if you want to understand what caused the result.

Funnel Criteria verdict: ClickFunnels works best when you design the customer journey first and use the software to implement it—not when the software dictates the strategy.
