Definition

A squeeze page is a highly focused opt-in page with one primary goal: exchange a relevant resource, update or access for contact information.

When minimalism helps

A short page works when the visitor already understands the context and the offer is easy to evaluate. Warm email traffic or a very specific ad can require less explanation.

When it hurts

Cold or skeptical traffic may need more context, credibility and detail. Removing navigation does not remove the need to answer the buyer's real questions.

Core elements

Use a specific promise, a short explanation of what arrives next, a proportionate form and one clear action. Add proof only when it is real and relevant.

After the opt-in

The thank-you page and first email are part of the experience. Deliver what was promised immediately and create a natural next step rather than an unrelated pitch.
