Sales Funnel Copywriting: Write for the Next Decision
A funnel-copy framework for messages that stay consistent from ad or search intent through landing page, offer, checkout and follow-up.
Copy has a job at each step
The first page does not need to close every objection if the next step is only an opt-in. Match the amount of persuasion to the size of the requested commitment.
Carry the message across the journey
The promise that earns the click should still be recognizable on the landing page and in follow-up. Message mismatch creates friction even when each asset sounds good alone.
Use concrete language
Specific audience, problem, mechanism, deliverable and next step usually outperform vague claims because the reader can evaluate what is being offered.
Write objections as questions
List what a reasonable buyer would ask about fit, effort, time, risk, compatibility and alternatives. Answer those questions where they naturally arise.
Edit for decision speed
Remove repeated claims, unnecessary adjectives and sections that do not change the reader's understanding. Long copy should earn its length.
Changing product facts were checked for this update. Plans, pricing and features can change.
